About us
We started making music together in London in 2024. Bliss Routine is a three-piece: guitar and vocal, bass and drums.
We make music with loud amps, layered guitars and vocals that are buried under the wall of sound. Slow, heavy riffs meet hazier textures: shoegaze, doom and psychedelic rock are all part of it.
Our first EP, Aberrations, came out in August 2024: five songs recorded live at Hicaz Studio. It captures early versions of songs including Walls, Witches Tales and Birds.
You can hear those songs again on Grounding, our debut studio album, alongside five more tracks. Released in June 2025, it brings together the heavier and more atmospheric sides of the band.
The music we’re inspired by reaches beyond any single genre, from shoegaze and doom to drone, post-rock and grunge. Some of our touchstones:
